I engineered and mass produced onewire temperature sensor boards and installed them throughout our datacenter. I then connected them all back to arduinos to collect the data and store values per location in memcache. From there I was able to take the data and turn it into a heatmap style color chart using HTML5 canvas over our buildings CAD drawings. We are now able to see temperatures throughout our datacenter in real time on a command center style display.
