Andy Beckmann

I have experience working as a freelancer, in a small team supporting systems for higher education, and within medium sized teams in a fast paced agency environment.

I started building websites in 2004, when I was 14, and a freshman in high school. Everything was built using only tables, 0 CSS, and was partially generated through slicing images in Adobe Photoshop.

A lot has changed since then, and a lot hasn't. I think I've learned to style layouts 3 or 4 different ways, over the past 15 years...

I love helping people through complex problems by breaking it down and understanding things conceptually.

I want to be the mentor I wish I had.
